On average Los Cabos, which is made up of Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, is mildest in summer (June to September) and in the early autumn months (September to December), when maximum temperatures hover around 32ºC during the day and 21ºC in the evenings. Winter, on the other hand, is pleasant, with highs of around 26ºC and lows that may require a sweater.

It was originally established as a fishing village that did not have many inhabitants, but thanks to its marine wealth it became the destination for fishermen looking for larger species.
