Asunto: Improving Some Parts Of Xciting 500(5/11 Update)
Here are some parts that I have modified and I would like to share with you.

The module of handle(12V socket, voltage regulator and filter,valtameter)

Hi, my frinds

Here are some problems confused me, and i need your help !

Because the engine type of my Xciting is carburetor ( ignition by CDI ) not throttle ( ignition by ECU ).

I am aware of the CDI have rpm limit.

As I have known:

I need to know that the relation between "CDI made date" and "rpm limit",

especially the CDI made date in 2006.6~7.

About motorbike build date, i think that we don't know that data, because we only know incoming/import date.

I would like to know why you buy a new CDI ?

The old CDI broken ? or other reason ?

Thanks for your photo about the bag of CDI, that helps me a lot!

I guess that i have found the rule of CDI version

(the version 3 seems have 9100rpm limit ; and the version 4 seems have 8200rpm limit).

And I need your help to double confirm that, please kindly do me a favor.

In order to know the rpm limit, you must testing as below:

After the engine of Xciting warm, you must to prop up the middle stand and turn the grip full down,

likes you test the air filter.

Then you will see the rpm limit on your tachometer, and you can loose the grip after you saw the rpm limit.

Please tell me the result after you test.

When i bought the motorbike, the laws of my country didn't allow me to drive it because i only had got one year old my "driver card". Then i bougth the motorbike and CDI limited to 34CV. Nowadays i be able to drive without limitation.

About the test of rpm, i'm sorry, i can't test it because my motorbike is being fixed on the repair shop due to traffic accident :(

However, driving the bike before i saw the rpm limit on 8200, because i wear a leo vince 4 road.

I have saw some information about 34CV in your country.
It's a very special rule and i never hear before.

It seems used 33mm pipe limitation on Xciting 500R,
but how about the 34CV limiter on your Xciting 500 ?
Using 33mm pipe and CDI limiter ? Or one of these?
